Yellow-rumped Warbler

I can always count on Yellow-rumped Warblers to bring up the rear of the fall warbler migration. The butterbutts always seem to show up first in the spring but at the tail end in the fall. Hee hee! Okay, that’s the last one, I promise! What’s in a name anyway? Butterbutt!!! I’m not sure if it’s the cute name or the cuter nickname that makes this one of my favorites but I sure do enjoy watching large numbers of them frolick and forage and chase each other around during spring and fall migration.
