Tennessee Warbler

Tennessee Warblers are perhaps the least flashy warblers of all, but what they lack in flair they make up for tenfold in personality. They are so friendly and cooperative that you might be seen as a nice place to perch. If you feel that you’re not close enough to them, they’re probably already considering moving closer. They’re mischievous too, routinely sneaking up behind me while I’m trying to photograph them. I love encountering bushes full of this bird because they’re so active and entertaining and bursting with joy. They never sit still for very long so photographing them can be difficult, even for a world-class wilderness explorer such as myself, but I bet if you fired off two or three hundred shots you might end up with a few good ones too!
